Comfrey contains allantoin, which stimulates rapid cell production, including that of skin and bone. It is therefore very useful for healing of bruises, broken bones and sprains. It also contains rosmarinic acid, which reduces inflammation and keeps skin healthy. Topical comfrey reduces pain and swelling in joints.
Directions: Apply to help with bruises, pulled muscles and ligaments, fractures, sprains, strains and osteoarthritis. Do not apply to improperly cleaned puncture wounds (because puncture wounds are deep and narrow, closing the surface too fast traps bacteria and dirt inside the tissue).
Ingredients: Castor oil, comfrey leaves, calendula, plantain, beeswax, shea butter.
Allergens: Avoid calendula if you are allergic to plants in the daisy family.
