What is a skin primer? It is a creamy formula that prepares the skin for make-up. By applying a primer first, make-up is less likely to smudge and should last longer because it acts as a base - sort of an 'adhesive' - for foundation and make-up. Moreover, it fills in pores, minimising fine lines which, again, makes it a good preparatory base. Skin primer can also be used on its own (without make-up) to plump the skin and even out skin texture. It doubles up as an ultra-rich hydrating moisturiser too.

It is safe for all skin types, including oily, acne-prone and sensitive skin. Many formulations make use of silicone to plump and smooth. Directions: Apply as a preparatory base after skincare and before foundation and/or concealer to create a smooth, long-lasting and flawless finish. Don't rub it in, but apply with a gentle pat to create a thin layer. A little goes a long way! Apply it on the whole face or maybe choose areas where make-up is prone to smudge, for example the T-zone, and where fine lines and wrinkles occur. If using sunscreen, apply sunscreen after applying skincare but before applying primer.
